Realme was a  Shenzhen -based  Chinese smartphone manufacturer. The brand was officially established on May 4, 2018, in China by  Sky Li. The company also produces a wide range of other products such as televisions, headphones, fitness bags and bands. It is a Chinese company as it’s website says. Realme recently also launched its new Realme X3 series smartphone in the month of June.

On its 1st anniversary, Realme announced it was going be entering the Mainland China and Taiwan market and sold about 15 million handsets in its first year of operation.

Realme launched its first product, “Realme-1,” exclusively to the Indian market in May 2018 on  Amazon India. By July 2019 Realme had launched in more than 20 markets, including China, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Philippines, Vietnam, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, and Russia. Realme launched in the Australian market in October 2019. As of November 2019, Realme already had a 14.3% share in the Indian smartphone market.

It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 84.7 %. On the camera front, the buyers get a 16 MP f/2.0 Primary Camera 8 MP, Wide Angle, Ultra-Wide Angle Camera, and on the rear, there’s a 48+8+2+2 MP camera with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. It is backed by a 4200 mAh battery. Connectivity features in the smartphone include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Volte, NFC, and more.
